IndiGo and Jetstar unveil virtual interline partnership

Jetstar Group has announced India's IndiGo airline will be the second carrier to join its virtual interline partnership. Read More » Under the agreement, Jetstar customers will be able to book connections and flights on IndiGo services through its Jetstar Connect platform. The functionality, which uses technology from flight search company, Dohop, is planned for launch at the end of April. “The ability to partner with other LCCs through Dohop has opened a new world of possibilities, helping customers enjoy more seamless connectivity throughout the region," Jetstar chief customer and commercial officer, Alan McIntyre, said. IndiGo chief commercial officer, William Boulter, said the partnership will "enable both airlines to tap into rising demand for international travel, especially during this summer holiday season". Jetstar Group established a similar virtual interline partnership with Tigerair Taiwan in December 2019.
