Airbus reports 104 orders and 76 cancellations for March

The latest Airbus orders and deliveries report states the aerospace company booked commitments for 104 commercial aircraft in March, lifting its year-to-date total for the first three months of 2022 to 253 aircraft. Read More » Net orders at March 31 stood at 83, compared with 55 at the end of February. Cancellations rose by 76 in the month, to 170, from 94 at February 28. A notable change in the 31 days was the order book of AirAsia X. In the Airbus February summary, the LCC had orders for 78 A330-900s. In the March report, the figure was 15, a reduction of 63 aircraft. Airbus delivered 63 aircraft to 38 airline customers in the reported month, up from 49 deliveries in February. To date in calendar 2022, Airbus has delivered 142 aircraft to customers.
