Japan Airlines boosts international schedule, new focus on Asia

Japan Airlines (JAL) is planning more flights to destinations in East Asia and South East Asia "in response to changes in the environment". Read More » The oneworld alliance member's latest international schedule update shows the reduction rate (the number of flights cancelled as a percentage of JAL's original schedule) falling from 60% in June to 52% in July. The schedule changes include increasing flights from Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports to Hong Kong to 10 a week against four outbound and two inbound at present. Frequencies also will be added to Tokyo Narita to Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo Haneda-Manila services.
