Garuda Indonesia on hunt for US$936 million in capital raising

Garuda Indonesia remains committed to a rights issue target of US$936 million in fresh capital once negotiations with creditors in a court-managed restructuring are concluded, local media has reported, quoting Garuda’s CEO, Irfan Setiaputra. Read More » The rights issue will be conducted in two parts and is planned to be completed by the end of 2022, the reports said. The capital raising is in addition to the Indonesian government's approval last week of a 7.5 trillion rupiah (US$519.1 million) capital injection into the flag carrier.
