Air China quarterly loss widens to US$1.3 billion to March 31

Mainland flag carrier, Air China, has reported a 8.9 billion (US$1.3 billion) net loss for the three months to March 31 against a net loss of 6.2 billion yuan in the same months in 2021. Read More » Revenue was lower by 11.4%, to 12.9 billion yuan, Air China said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Operating costs were 0.2% higher, at 23.1 billion yuan, the Beijing-based airline’s unaudited financial accounts record.
