China Eastern Airlines reports US$1.2 billion net loss for Q1 2022

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) recorded a net loss of 7.8 billion yuan (US$1.2 billion) for the three months to March 31, more than double the 3.8 billion yuan net loss it incurred in the matching quarter in 2021.
