Japan Airlines Europe flights continue to skirt Russian airspace

The oneworld alliance member will fly four times a week Tokyo Haneda-Helsinki in July and August and 11 flights weekly from Tokyo Haneda to London Heathrow in the same months. For July, JAL will operate 56% of its normal international schedule but reduce it to 32% in August and September. Japan remains largely closed to foreign tourists, but the government is about to allow small tourist groups from Australia, Singapore, Thailand and the U.S. to visit Japan on guided package tours with fixed itineraries.
