Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) has reported a net loss of 104.8 million ringgit (US$24 million) for the three months to March 31 compared with a 221.3 million ringgit net loss in the same months in 2021. Read More » Revenue improved 69.4%, to 570.8 million ringgit, MAHB told the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange. The bottom line improvement reflected a recovery in air traffic as travel restrictions were eased, the airport operator said. “The surge in passenger movements across the network of airports signals a clear trajectory towards recovery,” MAHB said. “As borders continue to reopen, the group is pivoting towards capitalising on its vast revenue and growth opportunities, thereby accelerating its return to profitability.”
