Bangkok Airways announces expanded domestic and international networks

Bangkok Air will open three domestic and four international routes from July to September as it rebuilds its network in response to recovering air travel demand. Read More » The Thailand-headquartered carrier said Bangkok-Hat Yai and Samui-Hat Yai will begin on July 16 and Samui-Chiang Mai will take off on July 1. The regional carrier also has scheduled Bangkok-Maldives from July 22, Bangkok-Siem Reap on August 1 and Bangkok-Da Nang and Samui-Hong Kong from September 1. Frequencies also will be boosted on Samui-Singapore to daily from July 1 and then to double daily on September 1. The airline's Bangkok-Phuket service will increase from three times daily at present to four a day from August 1.
