Boeing reports 23 gross orders for May

Boeing's latest orders and deliveries report shows the aerospace conglomerate received 23 gross orders in May: seven 787-9s, seven 777Xs, three 777Fs and six 737 MAXs. Read More » The May total lifted Boeing's gross orders for the first five months of 2022 to 236. Year-to-date orders, net of cancellations and conversions, stood at 171 aircraft, up from 157 airplanes at April 30. In the summary of the month, Boeing said it delivered 29 737 MAX family aircraft to customers worldwide, bringing its total in 2022 to 165 aircraft. May was the 11th consecutive month Boeing did not deliver a 787 as it was still working through a manufacturing issue with the type. The Seattle Times has reported Boeing may resume 787 deliveries in the coming weeks.
