IATA annual general meeting kicks off in Doha

The airline lobby group is holding its annual general meeting, hosted this year by Qatar Airways, in Qatar’s capital over the next two days. Qatar Airways Group CEO, Akbar Al Baker, said meeting face-to-face is allowing delegates to discuss the lessons learnt from the pandemic as well as the global issues affecting all airlines. The gathering also is a forum for developing strategies to take the industry forward, Al Baker said.
