Solomon Airlines will resume flying to Australia, Fiji, Vanuatu and Kiribati from August 1 following the Solomon Islands government's easing of quarantine requirements. Read More » “Reopening our borders is a major milestone that means Solomon Airlines can again offer our flights and network to the world,” Solomon Airlines CEO, Brett Gebers, said. “It will result in a gradual recovery of inbound tourism and offer more opportunities for international air freight. Our optimism about air travel in our region has proved well-founded.” The new Solomon Airlines schedule will be twice weekly flights between Brisbane and Honiara, one flight a week on the Honiara-Port Vila-Nadi-Honiara rotation and a fortnightly service between Brisbane and Tamara. “Our immediate priorities are to re-establish our core Pacific Islands network and ensure convenient connections from global markets, especially to New Zealand, Asia, the United States and Europe via Brisbane and Fiji,” Gebers said.
