AirAsia Philippines has forecast capacity on its international network will reach 70% of pre-COVID-19 levels in the final quarter of 2022 from strong month-on-month passenger growth. Read More » The LCC said international passengers carried jumped 354% in June compared with May, but did not disclose the actual numbers. “Our aggressiveness in expanding our domestic route network also manifests itself in our resumption strategy for international routes,” AirAsia Philippines head of communications and public affairs, Steve Dailisan, said. “This is in service of Filipino globetrotters and overseas Filipino workers wishing to explore the tourism and economic opportunities present abroad.” The carrier’s latest route resumption will be four times a week Manila-Singapore from July 1.
