Read More » The new cargo corridor will address growing demand for international air shipping. Commenced last week, the route is served with 777F freighters flown by DHL Express' DHL Air U.K. DHL Express will increase the route’s frequency, operated as a Hong Kong-Nagoya-Cincinnati-East Midlands routing, to six flights a week from September 6. “The capacity expansion is in response to strong growth in international demand from customers engaged in trade between Asia and the U.S., especially between Japan and the U.S.,” DHL Express Japan president and representative director, Tony Khan, said. “The addition of this route supports the development of the U.S. business of our Japanese customers and gives us the opportunity to connect customers from the U.S. to Japan.” The DHL Air U.K. service has joined Kalitta Air's five 777F flights a week and Polar Air Cargo Worldwide's five-weekly 747F freighter services operated on the route on behalf of DHL Express.
