EVA Airways posts 56% lift in passengers for June

Taiwan’s EVA Air flew 57,370 passengers in June, up 55.8% month-on-month from the 36,818 passengers it carried in May. Read More » The June result is more than double the 24,819 passengers the Star Alliance member transported in the same month in 2021. Passenger load factor was 41.5% compared with 25.6% in May and 22.4% in June 2021, EVA’s monthly traffic report said.

Passenger revenue for the 30 days was TW$1.2 billion (US$39.1 million), an improvement of 52.1% from TW$769.5 million in May. It was the first time since March 2020 EVA had posted monthly revenue in excess of TW$1 billion. In June 2019, EVA carried 901,898 passengers, recorded a passenger load factor of 81.9% and generated TW$7.6 billion in passenger revenue.
