Boeing and Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co (GAMECO) have signed an integrated materials management program contract to 2027 that secures the availability of parts and materials and reduce inventory holding costs at the southern China MRO facility.

Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) could again be the subject of offers from the private sector to modernise the facility, the Philippines National Enquirer reports, quoting Transportation secretary, Jaime Bautista. The former president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, did not progress a proposed public-private partnership (PPP) to redevelop NAIA, the newspaper reported, but the country’s new president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., may be more open to private investment. Bautista, a former Philippine Airlines president, hinted at opening the airport to proposals from private companies seeking long-term contracts to upgrade NAIA, the newspaper said.
