Thai AirAsia to launch US$20.9 million capital raising to fund route growth

Read More » The funds will come from the sale of debentures with a one-year maturity and a coupon rate of 6% to high net worth individuals and institutional investors, the LCC said. “This fundraising is to support our expansion and enhance our competitiveness in the market,” TAA CEO, Santisuk Klongchaiya, said. “We expect to be operating 43 of our 53 aircraft by the end of this year, bringing our capacity to more than 75% of our pre-COVID levels. We forecast, potentially, that the rest of 2022 will deliver our best half-year performance in three years.”
