Changi Airport Terminal 2 to fully reopen in October

Singapore's Changi Airport Group (CAG) said the southern departures hall at Changi Terminal 2 (T2) will reopen on October 11 to increase capacity and “spread passenger operations more evenly across the airport's terminals”. Read More » Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate check in facilities at the T2 wing from that date and Air India and Air India Express will be resident there from October 18. “With a refreshed design, upgraded systems and a high degree of automation across the passenger journey, T2 will enable Changi to serve our passengers better as we prepare for a busier year-end holiday peak,” CAG executive vice president airport management, Tan Lye Teck, said. T2 has been accepting arriving flights since May this year.
