China Airlines boosts international network after border restrictions relaxed

In its latest schedule update, Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) has announced new international services. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member will start Taipei Taoyuan-Vienna in October and extend Taoyuan-Brisbane to Auckland in the same month. Frequency will be added to several destinations including Bangkok, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney, CAL said. Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center has ruled travellers from Australia, Canada, the European Union, New Zealand and the U.S., as well as those from diplomatic allies, can enter the country visa free from September 12. But visitors still must undertake three days quarantine in a designated hotel followed by four days of self-monitoring.
