Eve Air Mobility said United Airlines had signed a conditional purchase agreement for 200 four-seat electric aircraft plus options for another 200 of the type as part of a US$15 million investment.
Emirates Airline has chosen the Thales AVANT Up inflight entertainment solution for its A350-900s.
Rolls-Royce has ended working with Boom Supersonic after concluding the commercial aviation supersonic market is not a current priority for its business. Boom is expected to make an announcement about the engine for its Overture supersonic project later this year.
GE Aviation has opened its Asia-Pacific service centre at Brisbane Airport. The new facility offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services in avionics, flight management, electrical power and DOWTY propeller systems on the 737, 787, Q400,F-50, C-130J Super Hercules and C-27J Spartan military transport aircraft.
Two months it held a jobs fair in July to find new staff, Sydney Airport said it would repeat the exercise on September 21. The airport said there were currently 4,000 available positions in border control, customs, hospitality, retail, security and trades.
