AirAsia carriers flying out of Changi to reach 96% of pre-COVID services

AirAsia Aviation Group Limited (AAAGL) said four of its airlines - AirAsia Malaysia, AirAsia Indonesia, AirAsia Thailand and AirAsia Philippines – are operating 168 flights a week to 12 destinations from Singapore Changi Airport, equivalent to about 60% of pre-pandemic weekly frequencies. Read More » The quartet of LCCs is forecast to collectively reach 96% of pre-pandemic frequencies from Changi by year end, including an increase in A330-300 services. CEO of AAAGL parent Capital A, Tony Fernandes, said Singapore Changi was the group's third largest hub and was integral to its business. He added he was thrilled to be back at reopened Terminal 4 (T4). “With the international travel rebound, no travel restrictions into Singapore and the return to T4, we are optimistic our pre-pandemic passenger numbers will move up again. We also foresee continued solid growth in our cargo and logistics operations in the region,” he said.
