China Airlines records 36% increase in passenger traffic

Read More » The reported figure was an increase of 1,295.2% over the 10,648 travellers flown in the same month in 2021 and was a result of Taiwan’s eased travel restrictions and increasing air traffic demand. The SkyTeam alliance member recorded passenger revenue of TW$2.1 billion (US$56.8 billion) for the 31 days, up 86.8% from TW$1.7 billion in July and 752.5% higher than the TW$243 million in the year-ago period. In pre-pandemic August 2019, CAL earned TW$8.8 billion in passenger revenue and flew 1.4 million customers.
