Xiamen Airlines orders 40 A320neo family aircraft; formerly a Boeing customer

Xiamen Airlines has committed to 40 A320neo family aircraft with deliveries from 2024 to 2027, its parent, China Southern Airlines (CSA), has informed the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The order will help Xiamen Airlines “ensure the safety of its strategic development” and continue to promote the structural adjustment of its fleet, the filing said. “It is expected the Airbus aircraft will have good economic and comprehensive performance, which will improve the operating efficiency of Xiamen Airlines and provide passengers with a comfortable air travel experience,” it said. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
