Cathay Pacific welcomes cancellation of Hong Kong’s compulsory hotel quarantine

Cathay Pacific will add scores of flights across its regional and long-haul networks following the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s (HKSAR) decision to immediately end hotel quarantine for inbound travellers. Read More » “These adjustments will boost sentiment for travel, facilitating its gradual resumption and strengthening network connectivity to, from and through the Hong Kong aviation hub,” Cathay Pacific said. “In October, we intend to add more than 200 city pair flights to regional and long-haul destinations.” The oneworld alliance member added that “while we will continue to add back flights as quickly as is feasible, it will take time to rebuild our capacity gradually”. Cathay also will schedule more flights to Japan in response to the country’s reopening of its international border and allowing quarantine free travel.
