Jet Airways leases A320 from Avolon reports local media

India's Jet Airways has signed a lease agreement with Avolon for an A320, domestic media reports, citing unnamed sources. Read More » Images of the aircraft, formerly leased to Russian Federation airline S7, have appeared on online websites. Jet Airways shut down in 2019. After new investors acquired the airline, the carrier received its Air Operator Certificate from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in May. The airline hopes to commence commercial flying in December.
