IndiGo’s CarGo receives first A321 freighter

Delhi-headquartered IndiGo has accepted its first A321 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) converted aircraft. Read More » A321P2F, registration VT-IKW, arrived at the LCC at the end of September. It is scheduled to operate on domestic and international routes. “For us, CarGo has been a success story especially highlighted during the pandemic. CarGo business brought in revenue when scheduled commercial flights were at a standstill,” IndiGo chief commercial officer cargo, Mahesh Malik, said. “We remain optimistic about the future of Indian aviation and the place of CarGo in it. The expansion into a true freighter fleet is a testament to this confidence.”
