Asiana Airlines boosts Japan network after its Asia neighbour reopens to visitors

Asiana Airlines is increasing its South Korea-Japan routes after the Japanese government’s restoration of visa-free travel and a relaxation of travel entry restrictions. Read More » The South Korean carrier intends to fly around 40% of its pre-COVID-19 schedule, or about 143 flights a week, to Japan by year-end. In the near-term, the carrier is adding frequency on existing routes from October 30. Seoul Incheon-Tokyo Narita is moving to 12 times weekly (from 10 currently), Incheon-Osaka will increase to 10 flights a week, Fukuoka will become daily and Nagoya will upgrade to three times a week. Flight frequency also will be added on Seoul Gimpo-Tokyo Haneda.
