Airbus launches A350F livery design competition

Airbus is inviting submissions for the design of its A350F freighter livery. Read More » The competition opened on October 3 and has a deadline for submissions of November 28. The winner will be announced on March 15 next year. “The A350F is a large freighter aircraft giving you more than 1000 sq. metres of surface to play with! Your creation should consider how this advanced new generation aircraft can benefit air freight operators and airlines across the globe,” the Airbus competition page said. “If your idea is chosen, our design experts will work with you to produce the final livery design, perfectly adapted for the A350F. It will be seen for the first time on the aircraft’s maiden flight, planned for 2024, and will showcase the aircraft to operators and airlines around the world.” The winning designer, or team of designers, will receive a trip to the Paris Airshow, a visit to the A350 Final Assembly Line in Toulouse and attendance at the launch of the A350F’s first flight in the new livery.
