Melbourne Airport welcomes resumption of nonstop Garuda Indonesia route

Garuda Indonesia will restart nonstop Jakarta-Melbourne Tullamarine from November 23, the Australian airport has announced. Read More » The route will fly a weekly A330-300 overnight service that will increase to twice a week later this year. “As Australia's largest neighbour, the nonstop service to Jakarta will not only benefit Australians and Indonesians holidaying and visiting family and friends, but boost trade between the regions, including the education market,” Melbourne Airport said. The restored route builds on the SkyTeam member’s existing Sydney to Jakarta and Denpasar services.
