ANA HOLDINGS reports US$667 million full year profit

ANA HOLDINGS INC has reported net profit of 89.4 billion yen (US$667 million) for the 12 months to March 31 2023, a return to profitability from a net loss of 143.6 billion yen in the prior corresponding period amid a strong recovery in domestic and international travel demand and sustained cost management initiatives. Read More » Operating revenue rose 67.3%, to 1.7 trillion yen, the parent company of All Nippon Airways and Peach said in a regulatory filing, while operating expenses were 33% higher, at 1.6 trillion yen. "The ANA Group is pleased to announce our strong financial performance that marks the first profitable full year of operations since the pandemic began three years ago," ANA executive vice president and group chief financial officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said. In terms of the outlook, ANA said it expected to achieve net profit of 80 billion yen for the current year.
