Boeing reports 96 orders and 51 deliveries for September

Boeing logged firm commitments for 96 aircraft last month, lifting the company's gross orders for the first nine months of 2022 to 542 aircraft. Read More » Net of cancellations and conversions, its order book stood at 428 aircraft on September 30, up from 338 airplanes at August 31. Boeing’s delivery of 51 aircraft for the 30 days was an increase from customers’ acceptance of 35 airplanes in August. The company handed seven 787 family aircraft to new clients in the reported period, an increase from two 787s delivered in the previous month. Boeing resumed 787 deliveries in August after a pause of more than a year due to a manufacturing issue with the type. Customers accepted 328 aircraft from Boeing in the first nine months of 2022.
