Air New Zealand to launch upgraded travel app in November

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) is calling on passengers to suggest features they would like included on the carrier’s app that is being rebuilt and is planned for a November launch. Read More » The New Zealand flag carrier said its app had undergone a complete rebuild in the past year to “deliver a continuous stream of new features added on a regular basis” and allow the airline to be make improvements in a constantly changing post-pandemic travel environment. “This could be enabling a contactless journey through airports, allowing customers to track their baggage status and customise their entertainment and meal experiences ahead of their flights,” Air NZ chief digital officer, Nikhil Ravishankar, said. “The new Air NZ app will be instrumental in ensuring Air New Zealand continues to offer customers even more control in the palm of their hands no matter where they are in their journey.”
