Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has chosen a Wamos Air A330-200 for its peak season Auckland-Perth charter service. Read More » The aircraft, configured with 20 lie-flat business and 260 economy seats, will operate daily from November 15 to February 16 next year. “We know customers look forward to our world-renowned Air New Zealand service and will miss seeing the mangopare on the aircraft tail, so we have carefully considered how to best maintain daily direct connectivity to Perth and also a high service standard,” Air NZ said in a note to travel agents. “Wamos Air is a proven and trusted provider. We are confident it will deliver our high standards of customer care on-board.” The Star Alliance member said customers on the flights operated by Spain-based Wamos Air will receive Air NZ's full food and beverage service and have access to the aircraft’s IFE system regardless of the fare purchased. Passengers booked in premium economy can choose to be refunded for the ticket difference and be reaccommodated in economy or receive a full refund.
