Thai Airways International topped 17,000 passengers a day in early October

Thai Airways International (THAI) carried an average of 17,554 passengers daily between October 1 and October 10 compared with around 2,092 passengers a day last January. Also this week, THAI held a ceremony in its Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport hangar to welcome two 777-300ERs, Alongkorn and Simongkhon, to its fleet. A third of the type, anointed Theparat, will join the airline on October 26. The three 777-300ERs are the only THAI aircraft equipped with first class (eight seats). They are earmarked for Bangkok to London, Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Narita.
