Malaysia Airlines will increase Kuala Lumpur-Melbourne to double daily from November 19 and build the route’s frequency to 16 flights a week between December 8 and next February 3. Read More » Melbourne Airport said the airline’s return to double daily will restore Malaysia Airlines to its pre-pandemic capacity levels out of Tullamarine. “We are pleased Malaysia Airlines has added these seasonal services. We expect the extra flights will prove hugely popular with Australians wanting to travel overseas for Christmas and for visitors from Malaysia, India and Europe looking to be in Melbourne for events such as the Australian Open tennis tournament,” Melbourne Airport said. The oneworld alliance member also has announced it will add a 15th flight a week between Kuala Lumpur and Sydney from December 30 to February 3, 2023.
