Cathay Pacific Cargo has rebranded its pharmaceutical shipments business as Cathay Pharma. The business offers customers 24/7 monitoring of shipments through its Ultra Track service, secure vaccine solutions and priority options. “With our team of expert handlers and our technologically advanced offering, we are confident Cathay Pharma is a comprehensive and best-in-class range of specialised and professional air cargo services for temperature-sensitive shipments including life-science deliveries,” Cathay director cargo, Tom Owen, said.
Malaysia Airports has completed negotiations with the Malaysia government to vary its development rights and a land lease agreement for the establishment of an aeropolis at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Under the new arrangements, the airport's development rights and land lease agreement for land in Sepang earmarked for the aeropolis have been extended to 99 years from November 17, 2022. The rights and agreement were due to expire in 2034. The land also has been carved out of the company's operating agreement for the running of KLIA.
Thompson Aero Seating will establish a facility to conduct tests on full-scale crash events at its brownfield site in County Down, Northern Island. The facility is scheduled to be operational by the northern hemisphere autumn of 2023.
