All Nippon Airways posts US$486 million profit for first nine months of fiscal year

ANA HOLDINGS INC., the parent company of All Nippon Airways (ANA) has reported net profits of 62.6 billion yen (US$486 million) for the nine months to December 31, 2022, compared with a 102.8 billion yen net loss in the corresponding months in 2021. Read More » Operating revenue rose 70.5%, to 1.3 trillion yen, ANA said in a regulatory filing. “Passenger demand is rapidly recovering with the easing of travel restrictions on domestic flights and removal of entry restrictions in various countries for international flights,” ANA said. The company raised its estimate for the full year to a net profit of 60 billion yen, from 40 billion yen in its most recent 2022 forecast. Expectations for operating revenue were lifted by 10 billion yen, to 1.7 trillion yen.
