Fiji Airways joins airlines offering unbundled economy fares

Fiji Airways will introduce unbundled fares for economy class passengers on flights to Canada and the U.S. on March 2 and across its entire network from March 3. Read More » Passengers will have the options of lite, value, comfort or plus economy seats. All economy class passengers will receive meals, beverages and inflight entertainment and be allowed one carry-on bag. Economy lite fares will not qualify for check-in luggage. “We have conducted extensive global market research and I am certain our different guest demographics will see the benefit in each of them,” Fiji Airways CEO, Andre Viljoen, said. “The results of the market research show what our different customers expect and value most when travelling and where they prefer more flexibility. This is the approach we took when designing the categories.”
