Airbus has announced its Tianjin Final Assembly Line has completed the assembly of its first A321neo, with the inaugural aircraft delivered to China's Juneyao Airlines. Read More » Opened in 2008, the Tianjin FAL is one of four Airbus facilities delivering A320 family aircraft to customers, alongside Hamburg, Mobile and Toulouse. “Since we announced the commissioning of the first A321 aircraft at FAL Tianjin last November, the relevant final assembly activities and tests went smoothly, showcasing the maturity of FAL Tianjin to quickly adapt to new products,” Airbus executive vice president and China CEO, George Xu, said. “The successful delivery of the first A321 aircraft enables Airbus to honour the popularity of the aircraft in the China market and beyond and the consistent trust and support of our customers.”
