Osaka Kansai Airport international flights to soon reach 55% of pre-COVID-19 levels

Osaka Kansai Airport is forecast to receive 869 passenger and cargo international flights a week in the 2023 northern hemisphere summer figures from its operator, Kansai Airports, show. Read More » The forecast is for 55.4% of the weekly 1,570 international passenger and cargo flights it recorded in pre-COVID times. The 2023 northern hemisphere summer season runs from March 26 to October 28. Kansai Airports, a consortium led by VINCI Airports and ORIX Corporation, also operates Itami airport and Kobe Airport. The three airports will receive 294 domestic flights daily from late March to the end of October; above the 288 flights a day in 2019.
