Read More » The conglomerate has retained the Air India Express brand for the merged operation and is progressing to more integration, including consolidating to a single air operating permit and creating one regulatory platform, it said. “This new Air India Express, operating both domestically and internationally with systems optimised for low-cost airlines, gives the group a much stronger LCC platform,” Air India CEO, Campbell Wilson, said. “Together with the group’s recent, benchmark-setting aircraft order, this sets the scene for us to realise many new opportunities for customers, employees and Indian aviation.”
