Fiji Airways has added two A350-900s to its order book for routes to North America and North Asia. Read More » The additions to the Pacific carrier’s fleet will free up its A330s to operate to destinations in Australia and New Zealand, Fiji Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad, and the airline's CEO, Andre Viljoen told local media this week. The aircraft are scheduled to arrive in Fiji in the second half of calendar 2023. The flag carrier operates two A350-900s, three A330-200s, one A330-300 and six 737 family aircraft. “More details will be announced in coming weeks. The new aircraft will allow us to add capacity on our existing routes and explore expansion of our network,” Viljoen said.
