China’s flag carrier reports domestic passengers climbed 28.6% in latest month

Air China flew 9 million passengers on its domestic network in March, up from 7 million passengers flown in February and more than three times higher than the 2.2 million domestic passengers it transported in the same month a year ago. Against pre-COVID-19 operations, the reported month’s domestic passengers were 119.1% of the 7.5 million customers the airline carried in March 2019.
