Cathay Pacific reports “positive and robust sentiment” for air travel

Read More » It was the first time since the pandemic started that the carrier had exceeded that figure; flying 53,233 passengers across its network in response to “positive and robust sentiment”, the group said. “We are actively working to add flights to satisfy customer demand, in particular between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland,” Lau said. Between now and October 31, return flights will progressively increase to around 160 per week, covering 16 airports in 15 cities, she said. Cathay carried 1.3 million passengers in March, up 19% from the 1.1 million passengers it transported in February and 42.5% of the 3.1 million passengers it flew in March 2019.
