Japan Airlines reports 14.2% increase in 2023 Golden Week bookings against 2022

Japan Airlines (JAL) processed 827,152 domestic bookings for the 2023 Golden Week – April 29 to May 7 – against 724,323 ticket purchases in the year ago period. Read More » Travel to Kansai, Hokuriku, Kyushu and Tohoku was particularly strong, JAL said. International bookings for the coming week escalated 137.2%, to 146,380 compared with 61,709 in 2022. The most popular ex Japan destinations for the seven days are East Asia cities, Guam and Hawaii.
