SIA and Satair sign long term agreement covering expendable materials supply

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Satair have signed a long-term agreement where the latter will provide the flag carrier with expendable materials through its integrated material services (IMS) platform. Read More » The IMS handled end-to-end supply chain activities for expendable materials used on SIA's aircraft, such as forecasting, planning, purchasing and delivery. "Designed in close collaboration with SIA, the tailor-made solution will allow the airline to realise an increase in material availability, alongside a reduction in inventory holding administration-related tasks, and obsolescence and scrap," said Satair, an Airbus Services company.
