SIA passengers dip 1%; latest traffic monitor report

Singapore Airlines Group’s (SIA) passengers slipped slightly to 2.69 million in April, from the 2.72 million travellers it carried in the previous month. Read More » On a month-on-month basis, the April result was 85.5% above the 1.45 million passengers Singapore Airlines and Scoot transported a year ago. “The Singapore Airlines Group continued to see strong passenger traffic and load factors across all route regions,” SIA said. “This was supported by robust leisure demand during the Easter holiday.” Against pre-pandemic operations, the April figure was 87.4% of the 3.1 million passengers flown by SIA in the same month in 2019. Capacity was 86.5% of four years ago.
