Garuda targets 36% passenger growth in three months to September 30: report

Garuda Indonesia said it expected passenger numbers to rise 36% in the three months to September 30 2023, compared with the same three months in 2022, FlightGlobal reported, citing a statement from the airline issued after its annual general meeting. Read More » Despite the forecast improvement in passenger numbers, the report said the Skyteam alliance member had trimmed its expected fleet size to 63 aircraft by the end of this year, down from a previous forecast of 70 aircraft. Garuda reached agreement with creditors and other investors on a restructuring plan in 2022.
