AirAsia Malaysia posts 39% passenger increase in September quarter

AirAsia Malaysia flew 6.7 million passengers in the three months to September 30, an increase from 4.8 million passengers transported in the same months in 2022. The LCC was operating 69 aircraft by the month’s end compared with 47 a year ago. Capital A said consistent high travel demand post-pandemic had resulted in solid year-on-year growth across its operating airlines in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.
