American Airlines to add Dallas Fort Worth-Brisbane to global network

American Airlines (AA) has announced a new seasonal daily service to Brisbane from its Dallas Fort Worth hub. Read More » The route is scheduled to start on October 27 and to be flown with 787 MAXs fitted with 51 business, 32 premium economy and 161 economy seats. The rotation will be the oneworld alliance member's fourth nonstop destination to the Pacific after existing Sydney-Los Angeles, Auckland-Los Angeles and Auckland-Dallas Fort Worth, services operated in a joint venture alliance with Qantas Airways. “American is thrilled to grow our international network to give customers more ways to escape the cold next winter,” AA senior vice president network and schedule planning, Brian Znotins, said. “Together with Qantas, customers can enjoy more ways to explore new destinations across one of the most comprehensive networks connecting the United States and the South Pacific.”
